Some of them are known as "silent killers". These diseases can be severe at any time and lead to death. Although following a good diet, maintaining a healthy routine is what determines your health. If someone fails, it leads to complications that can even last forever. 

To increase your aware and alert, here are some of the silent killer diseases you never knew;
Hypertension. It is also known as high blood pressure. This is the most dangerous disease that can even lead to other chronic conditions. The World Health Organization suggests that 1.28 billion adults aged 30-79 years worldwide have Hypertension. Thus disease is considered to be a killer disease because it develops with no detectable symptoms until late stage. One can be aware of the disease when it has spent some good time in the body. It not only attacks the heart and the arteries but also makes someone prone to serious cardiovascular diseases like heart attack, heart failure and stroke among others.
Coronary artery disease. This is a heart disease that is threatening. The disease narrows down the coronary artery that supplies blood and oxygen to the heart. This leads to chest pain or even heart attacks. The moment one suffers such conditions and there is no proper screening and heart healthy lifestyles, the prevention or treatment is next to impossible. But when given quick treatment, they may be subjected to heart failure and other conditions. 
Diabetes or high blood sugar levels. This disease has two types i.e. Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. In Type 1, the pancreas produces little or no insulin in the body while Type 2 impacts the way the body processes blood sugars or glucose. The disease also has no early signs or symptoms. However, when it progresses it leads to fatigue, weight loss, frequent urination and thirst. It can also affect other body organs like the heart, kidney and your eyesight.
Osteoporosis. This is a bone disease that affects individuals with no signs or symptoms until they undergo a fracture and get the diagnosis. It also impacts oral health. 
In conclusion, one should embark on having a proper diet, exercising, maintaining healthy weight and visiting doctors and medical specialists for regular screening. After all, they say “prevention is better than cure.”
